Tamworth Music Festival

I have just returned from Tamworth. The weather was kind, warm but not too hot most of the time, and the crowds were up. Certainly a lot going on for music lovers and more than just country music being played. I caught up with Sam Buckingham who performed out at the Longyard Hotel. You can hear Sam's songs on my Tuesday programme Yesterday Today. The pubs have improved their venues and many now have air conditioned venues, which are really necessary at this time of year.
