Struggle Street
On this weeks Struggle Street program Wollongong Against Corruption challenges the Lord Mayor of Wollongong to a public debate over the appalling decision by Wollongong City Council Labor and Liberal Party majority to back a rezoning of environmentally protected Illawarra Escarpment land in the interest of a developer. Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbury whilst running the white flag and putting his hands up for the developer described the Illawarra Escarpment land as a "mound of dirt". Well Gordon we will be digging a ton of dirt and shovelling it up for the growing audience on the Street. Tune in and find out who has what hand up the collective rears of the Labor and Liberal glove puppets on Wollongong City Council. Don't miss it. Vox. At 4. On Saturday. On the wireless. On 106.9 On the other hand if you prefer to view the world through lace curtains tune into ABC Classic.
Struggle Street
Should be a very interesting show this week. Topics include Corruption, Unions and, as always, Unemployment.
Tune in on Saturday at 4pm and hear the news and views that you don't hear anywhere else!

Tamworth Music Festival
I have just returned from Tamworth. The weather was kind, warm but not too hot most of the time, and the crowds were up. Certainly a lot going on for music lovers and more than just country music being played. I caught up with Sam Buckingham who performed out at the Longyard Hotel. You can hear Sam's songs on my Tuesday programme Yesterday Today. The pubs have improved their venues and many now have air conditioned venues, which are really necessary at this time of year. If you haven't been to Tamworth and experienced the music festival. i say...give it a go, you'll love it.
Wayne.
